We’re leading the competition-winning team delivering the first of five legacy housing developments in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Our vision for a vibrant family community is informed by the key design themes of accessibility and inclusiveness.
The location offers the best of both worlds: urban and connected, but also green and spacious. Our design capitalises on these qualities. We’ve added a generous, inclusive public realm – including shops, cafés, restaurants and nurseries – linked by green spaces open to everyone.
By dedicating more than 75% of the housing – which includes maisonettes, flats and townhouses – to three-bedroom homes, we’re aiming to attract families and form a characterful neighbourhood that’s integrated with the surrounding park but still retains a unique sense of place. Chobham Manor’s mix of houses will build a diverse, engaged community around shared spaces and resources, transforming the park into a thriving part of East London.

With a focus on family housing, this scheme [has] a spark of difference. The intergenerational house really stands out, and it’s what’s needed for the future.

A subtle materials palette provides a clean, uncluttered facade, applying modern variations of traditional materials and colours to establish a strong, contemporary London appearance.

Chobham Manor is the first of five residential neighbourhoods to be built on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Phase 1 of Make’s legacy masterplan has commenced, and construction is underway.
