The Architecture Drawing Prize

The Architecture Drawing Prize celebrates the importance of drawing as a tool in capturing and communicating architectural ideas.

Established in 2017, the Prize is a collaboration between Make, Sir John Soaneā€™s Museum and the World Architecture Festival. The annual competition receives entries from around the world across its three categories: hand-drawn, digital and hybrid. Past and present judges include Ken Shuttleworth, artists Ben Langlands and Nikki Bell, and Foster + Partnersā€™ head of design communication Narinder Sagoo.

Winning and shortlisted drawings are displayed at Sir John Soaneā€™s Museum and the World Architecture Festival. For the 2020 competition, Make designed a virtual gallery to showcase them. You can explore previous winners below and visit The Architecture Drawing Prize to learn more about taking part.
