Make’s BCO delegation for 2026

This year’s BCO Conference takes Make to Scotland, with five of the team heading to Edinburgh and Glasgow from 17 to 18 June for the Festival of Enlightenment programme.

Designed to inspire, challenge and connect delegates across the two cities, the 2026 programme brings together plenaries, tours and workshops over two days.

Dr Ken Shuttleworth, Kathryn Edwards, Oliver Hall, Cara Bamford and Liam Bonnar (L-R) will be joining delegates throughout, with Oliver and Liam taking the high and low roads to the conference as part of the Annual Cycle Challenge.

13–16 June | Annual Cycle Challenge

BCONextGen National Chair Oliver, alongside Liam, will take part in the 2026 Annual Cycle Challenge, cycling approximately 300km from Aviemore in the Scottish Highlands to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.

We’d love your support to help our riders reach the finish line and raise funds for this year’s conference charity, Spifox, in the process. Please donate via the BCO’s JustGiving page and help us hit the target.

17 June | ‘Navigating office development in UK regional cities’

Make founder and BCO Past President Ken will join the plenary ‘Navigating office development in UK regional cities’ alongside Cameron Stott (JLL), Paul Curran (Qmile Group), Helen Hare (GPE) and Ben Littman (Aviva Investors). The panel will explore emerging strategies for unlocking viable development, from innovative financing models to alternative use concepts.

If you’d like to arrange a meeting with any of our attendees, please get in touch.
