Unlocking the power and potential of Sydney's building stock

It’s time to rethink, reuse and reinvigorate existing building stock. As communities and climates evolve, so can our buildings.

Join Simon Lincoln, Make’s Asia Pacific Director, as he guides you through inventive ways to make your projects more:
Sustainable — minimise waste and leverage technology
Affordable — cut costs and save time
Adaptable — respond to a contemporary market

Learn from local and global exemplars of buildings that have been successfully upgraded and adaptively reused.

Simon Lincoln is overseeing the architecture and design of the billion-dollar redevelopment of Wynyard Place, a transformational mixed-use development in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. In a career spanning more than 20 years, Simon’s portfolio of built work covers Asia, the UK and the UAE. His work on Melbourne’s The Link (a multi-purpose passageway for Vicinity Centres’ Chadstone shopping centre) and Sydney’s The Education Building (transforming one of the city’s best-known heritage buildings into a high-end hotel) look set to become exemplars of Australian architecture.
