Since joining the London studio in 2010, Michelle has worked across a wide range of sectors including retail, high-end residential, office, hotels, heritage, and education and research.
She relocated to Australia in 2016 to help establish Make’s Sydney studio, and is leading the refurbishment of the historic Sandstone precinct’s Education Building turning it into one of the world’s grandest hotels. Michelle has significant experience with heritage buildings. Her forcus is on restoration in a sustainable, contemporary way that respects and preserves their social, architectural and economic significance. She has a passion for detail at varying scales, and for working at the intersection between interior design and architecture.
Michelle completed her architecture studies at the University of Oxford Brookes and Westminster and has been a visiting critic at both The Bartlett and Westminster University.
