Simone Dos SantosArchitecture, London
Simone joined Make in 2022 as a Part 2 architectural assistant, and she is currently working on a residential project located in Tower Hamlets.
After completing her Part 1 at the University of Portsmouth in 2017, she worked on private residential schemes for a Hampshire-based practice. She also completed a placement at a studio in Seville where she worked on a variety of schemes, including large-scale public projects, a stadium and a national competition. In 2021 she achieved a Distinction for her Part 2 – also at the University of Portsmouth.
Simone is passionate about creating an inclusive built environment industry, something she did as a programme coordinator at Blueprint for All. In her role, she promoted equality and diversity within the industry by delivering and facilitating events and workshops. Supporting young people from diverse ethnic backgrounds is something she hopes to continue championing at Make.
Outside the office, Simone is a keen gardener and likes to grow and cook her own food.
