James Redman

James joined Make in 2005 and has contributed to a variety of schemes for the practice, including Brookfield Place Sydney, London Wall Place in the City of London and the Basil Street Escalator Hall in Harrods.

He is currently leading on various projects: our two schemes for the Bankside Yards development in Southwark, the redevelopment of the Grade II-listed Seymour Leisure Centre in Marylebone, and the masterplan for the Kimmerfields regeneration scheme in Swindon.

James has significant experience in the office, retail, mixed-use, heritage, high-end residential and higher education sectors, as well as with strategic masterplanning, having recently led the masterplan framework for the University of York. James also leads Make’s urban design working group.

One of his biggest achievements so far has been exhibiting his work at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
