Jack Sargent

Architecture, London

Since joining Make in 2013, Jack has contributed to a variety of projects, from commercial office and sports schemes to luxury hotels, retail developments, and virtual art galleries.

Alongside co-leading the practice’s facades group, Jack is an integral part of Make’s arts and culture team and has played a key role in developing the Vault of Contemporary Art: a virtual art gallery that launched in 2021, exhibiting work from Ben Johnson in partnership with the V&A. The project has enabled him to explore the future of digital spaces and the possibilities they open from an architectural viewpoint. Jack has worked on the design and delivery of culturally significant and historically important projects, such as the competition to design new stands for Lord’s Cricket Ground as well as Brookfield Place Sydney. He is currently leading a scheme in Salford, Greater Manchester.

Jack has volunteered as a mentor with the Accelerate programme established by Open City and The Bartlett School of Architecture, where he is a visiting critic. He has both exhibited and lectured at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
