Make希望打造一个富有凝聚力和包容性的可持续发展社区,住户以家庭为主,全面提升本地社区。Make与PRP合作,为毗邻奥林匹克公园的场地提供总体规划设计方案,与其他三个地块建筑师Karakusevic Carson、Haworth Tompkins和AHMM共同交付了七个地块上四分之一的住宅。在伦敦奥运闭幕的十年后,这些住宅已发展为一个欣欣向荣社区的,为当地带来新面貌。
在难得的慷慨城市空间中,项目在中伦敦附近建设了一个全新社区,包括逾850套新建住宅、一个咖啡馆、零售商铺和托儿所。此外,宽敞的公共空间和中央绿地可以供居民聚会、儿童玩耍。

项目面向家庭设计, 75%的住宅单位为三卧户型,这在伦敦的大型住宅开发项目中很少见。住宅的形式包括小别墅、以马厩为原型的公寓以及公寓式住宅楼。35%为经济适用住宅,为更多家庭提供在伦敦安家的机会。多样化、可负担的房型是包容性社区的基础,让项目在竣工后能够继续蓬勃发展。
我们通过对对伦敦经典住宅形式进行了现代诠释,以内敛、连贯的材料搭配将整个设计方案联系起来。建筑的布局遵循传统布置,以现代手法反映了伦敦传统公寓式住宅、联排住宅和小别墅中对于有层次感的纵向和横向线条的强调。各类型建筑的外立面和谐有序,以现代设计的传统材料和颜色表达项目的“伦敦”精髓。
