Olivia Van WerschArchitecture, London
Olivia is a Part 1 architectural assistant in the London studio having relocated from Make’s Sydney office, where she first joined in 2022. She worked on a range of projects, including retail developments in Sydney and Brisbane as well as a residential scheme in Sydney, and is currently working on the Grade II-listed Seymour Centre.
Olivia achieved First Class Honours for her BSc Architecture at the University of Bath and has experience working for global architecture practices in London and the Netherlands. Her final university project, a school for severely autistic children, was awarded the Foster + Partners Design Prize and was nominated for the 2022 AJ Student Prize.
Having lived in France, China, Indonesia, the Netherlands, the UK and Australia, she’s passionate about developing innovative and sustainable building solutions to reduce the human footprint on the world while improving the built environment.
