Architecture, LondonMehrnoush has worked across the hospitality, retail, heritage and residential sectors since joining Make in 2013.
She qualified as an architect in 2016 and relocated from London to Sydney to lead part of the high-profile Sandstone Precinct project, turning a former government building into a 6-star hotel. While in Sydney, she established the Future Spaces Foundation’s Sydney arm and taught on the architecture programme at UNSW.
Now back in London, she’s worked on various refurbishment projects for Harrods and has led international hospitality design competitions. She also leads our in-house hotels sector group and has run Make’s latest cross-sector thought leadership series: Suits and Suites, and Boutiques and Suites. She is also a 2023 judge for the Archello Awards.
Prior to joining Make, Mehrnoush worked for practices in London, Beijing and Tehran, gaining experience in environmental design, parametric design and the construction of temporary structures.
During her studies she was nominated for the Phillip Webb Award and won The Hegarty Prize for Design Excellence and the ACADIA Award for Prototyping Exhibition. She has exhibited architectural prototypes in the UK and Canada and had her personal artwork displayed at London galleries and the Battersea Art Fair.
