Joanna joined Make in 2007 and has worked on prominent commercial developments, masterplans, higher education schemes and more. She was the project architect for 3 Arena Central and 5 Centenary Square, and was a key member of the team designing 1 Centenary Square – HSBC’s regional HQ plus three office buildings in Birmingham’s Arena Central business quarter.

She also played a major role in the design and delivery of 5 Broadgate, Make’s award-winning City of London HQ for UBS. She was involved from concept stage through to completion, including extensive engagement with the tenant (owner-occupier).

Joanna is currently co-leading the team working on 72 Upper Ground – a mixed-use development located on London’s iconic South Bank, combining state-of-the-art workspace, restaurants, gardens, and a new cultural centre for production and performance.
