Cristiana joined Make in 2019 after completing her studies with a combined Part 1 and Part 2 architecture course, from ‘Ion Mincu’ University of Architecture and Urbanism, Bucharest.

During her time with the practice, she has worked on Worship Square and on St James’s Market Phase 2 – an 8-storey mixed use regeneration scheme in London. Cristiana is passionate about context-driven design and how the complex relationship established between new and existing architecture impacts on the users. She is particularly interested in the different ways new architecture can find its place in conservation areas and enhance the local values and identity without disruption. She believes that the culturally thoughtful design of places is what inspires communities and ensures the long-term success of a building.

Prior to joining Make, she worked mainly in the high-end residential and healthcare sectors, on award winning projects in Bucharest.
