Our new commercial development in Budapest, located on the city’s longest and busiest boulevard, will provide office space for 12,000 professionals. With its contemporary architecture, ample amenities and substantial provision of green space, the scheme is set to regenerate the local office market, with investment expected to produce some 6,000 jobs in the coming years.

The city centre development includes seven office buildings with ground and first floor retail units, together totalling more than 100,000m² of lettable area. Agora Hub and Agora tower, the first buildings on site, offer some of the biggest floor spaces available in the capital, plus co-working areas and a wide selection of amenities, from restaurants and cafés to supermarkets, medical services and a gym. Once complete, the scheme as a whole will house around 40 shops and incorporate new cycle paths surrounding the development. Public spaces are aplenty – 15 tennis courts’ worth of open green areas, in fact, with gardens, trees and grassy paths all centred around a beautiful ‘agora’ that provides a multifunctional focal point for the development.

We’ve developed a sensitive, articulate massing concept and chosen materials rooted in the local vernacular, including white ceramic facades that reflect the city’s strong tradition of ceramic ornamentation. This architecture, coupled with the scheme’s valuable public space, will bring significant improvement to the heart of the Budapest’s Váci Business Corridor.

The main goal for us is to deliver an iconic scheme that fits into the texture of the city and respects the traditions of Budapest while still bringing modern architectural value to the capital.
